-
peeled and chopped fine Onion
-
4 cloves finely grated Garlic
-
2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
-
2 teaspoons Ground Coriander
-
1/2 teaspoon Ground Allspice
-
1/2 teaspoon Black pepperground fine

-
Handful finely chopped Parsley
-
Handful finely chopped Fresh mint
-
3 tablespoons Olive oil
Directions
Lamb Kofta
Minced lamb – 500 grams
One Onion (peeled and chopped fine)
Garlic – 4 cloves finely grated
Ground Cumin – 2 teaspoons
Ground Coriander – 2 teaspoons
Ground allspice – 1/2 teaspoon
Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Parsley – Handful finely chopped
Fresh Mint – Handful finely chopped
Olive oil – 3 tablespoons
Put all ingredients together in a large bowl and mix with hand well. Everything has to be well combined. Make sure the mixture is dense. Leave out the Olive oil at this point.
Use your hand to make oval shapes and place on a lined sheet. You should get about 35-40 koftas. Place them in the fridge for about an hour.
Place olive oil in a pan and fry the Kofta. Please be gentle as you fry them. I would suggest do a few a time till they are fried right (completely) through. The heat should be high when you fry. Use your judgment.
Once done place on a paper towel to drain the oil from the kofta.
You can serve it with any kind of sauce you choose. I personally will serve them with a tamarind sauce. You can buy this sauce from any Indian store or you can look further on my site and find recipes for homemade tamarind sauce.
