Ingredients

2 tablespoons minced Ginger

2 tablespoons minced fine Garlic

4 tablespoons Sugar

2 teaspoons ( can be purchased from the Chinese store in a bottle) Chili Garlic Sauce

1 teaspoon Fish sauce

1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
Directions
Tamarind Sauce
You can either use tamarind pulp where you would strain the tamarind through a sieve pressing the pulp to extract as much water as possible. Add the water to a pan.
Otherwise you can buy a pulp from the store in a bottle. Use two tablespoons of the pulp place in a pan and add about 1/2 cup of water.
Ginger – 2 tablespoons minced.
Garlic – 2 tablespoons minced fine
Sugar – 4 tablespoons
Chili garlic sauce from the store – 2 teaspoons ( can be purchased from the Chinese store in a bottle)
Fish sauce – 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
Mix all the above into the pan with the tamarind and boil over high heat till it thickens. It should have a sweet sour taste.
Serve with any kind of food.
